We believe that you should control who receives your personal information.
Whether it concerns where you live, what your interests are, or how you choose
to conduct transactions. Therefore, we do not disclose, share, sell, or trade information
about your individual visits to mapsport.com; including your name, business address,
account address, mailing address, email address, phone number, fax number, password or
any credit card information, to any outside companies except for completing a transaction
that you initiate (ie: passing encrypted information to the credit card processing company).
However, we will release information, in order to comply with an official and valid legal
process such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order.
During sign-up you have the option of being included on MapSports email list.
If you opt-in, you can expect to periodically receive our specials list and other like
advertisements. After every purchase you have the option to select a notification when
any product is updated, such as a later revision to a map. This is also an opt-in choice;
if not selected, you will not receive an update.
You have the option of being removed from these email lists by replying to any
of the advertisement or update emails and asking to be removed or by
de-selecting the option(s) by going to the My Account selection after login to MapSport.
Other Web sites that you may link to from our site, have their own privacy policies.
MapSport is not responsible for the privacy practices of other Web sites. We encourage you
to review the privacy policies of Web sites before providing them with any of your personal
information. MapSport takes every precaution to protect our users information. When users
submit sensitive information via the Web site, your information is protected both online and
offline. We will never ask you for sensitive information in an email, only enter it as prompted
online with mapsport.com displayed in your browser destination and always check the MapSport
site SSL certificate by clicking on your browsers security icon.
When our registration/order/checkout forms asks users to enter sensitive information
(such as address, email or credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected
with the best encryption software in the industry. MapSport uses 128 bit encryption and Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to keep your personal information as secure as possible.
MapSport does NOT keep credit card information on our servers; it is transferred as
encrypted data to our service provider, Cyberauthorize, who processes the credit card charge and
returns an approval code. Your Credit Card number is not at risk on our servers.
